Bud the Spud

I've just harvested the Roseval salad potatoes and I'm well pleased. The weather hasn't adversely affected this lot. There are 100 excluding the top row of little ones, from only 5 seed potatoes.
Here's Stompin'Tom to sing the praises of his home growed potatoes.

Those are really pretty looking spuds! A pretty good cropper from the looks of it. Do they taste nice? Are they waxy or floury?

Are you reading your email at 't..dodo'? I sent you an email last week.

Yes, they taste very good. They are on the waxy side which I like.
Sorry, I don't seem to have received your email. Maybe you could resend?

That's a great Stompin Tom clip... reminds me of our Massey Hall night but it would've been fun to see him at that venue.
He'd appreciate your crop I'm sure. They look like beauties. How many types did you plant this year?

Yes the venue looks a fine one doesn't it - could be Anytown, circa 1970 or last year in the Maritimes.
Five different types, we've already eaten the earlies and are working on the Charlottes and Rosevals with two maincrops to harvest later.
