Doris is egg-sitting again! Sometime around May 1st or 2nd they should start hatching. *Update! I was thinking of swans when I calculated the incubation dates, there are critters trying to tap their way out today - Monday April 25th.

Our local wild avifauna are supplementing their (or their nestlings') diets with dry cat food from the outdoor kitty's bowl, as usual. This goes on all summer.

Aww thats so sweet, I'd love to have chicks! Of course we'd need to sort out getting chickens first... ;)

You're right, they are assorted fertilized eggs from a farmer. We have no rooster.
