what a beautiful selection of squash... Doris looks quite interested by them.
You are a wonderful gardener and writer and photographer and blogger. I bow reverently in your (and the hens' and the squashes') general direction, from across the Atlantic.
Q - To be honest, she's very apprehensive indeed but the only one brave enough to risk getting that close. The other three are in a far corner paralysed by fear. Fear of anything newly introduced into their space be it a paper bag or a pumpkin.
